i quite notice that my mood is easily affected by the hormonal changes its going through. here i go again in my best agitated mood about a week after menses end. maybe i am tired. maybe all i need is a bar of chocolate to stimulate my endorphine level.

and organising my group meet ups have never been so annoying.

the new internet explorer 8 is the most irritating invention ever. i cant open any new link in a new browser or window. plus i cant even post pictures on my blog.

its so weird having Ramadhan and Hungry ghost clashing together. Theres muslim prayers beside my block and about less than 50m away, at the basketball court theres Auction Festival for the Hungry Ghost. wow. I wonder how our prayers would be when we seek peace and tranquility.

oh the side note, i went for a blood test today. she poked me THREE TIMES on my wrist and said, i think you need a senior nurse to do it. excuse me miss, you dont need to do it 3 times to know that you cant get any blood out of me. so in total, 4 pokes. nice..

so this week was pretty annoying. i got scolded for a few major mistakes that i forget already what mistakes they were.

while i was working one afternoon, someone came down the pharmacy looking for an arab translator at the ward. they had an international patient. my colleague excited over this matter decided to recommend me. boy oh boy i was nervous to meet the international patient, i started recalling whats pain, medicine in arabic.

when i arrived, the nurses ushered me to the room where the doctor is already in. little did i know the patient is suffering some psychotic conditions. the doctor asked me to translate, had she had any medical records before, any mental illness in the family history. my gawd. i was stunned. i didnt expect to translate such words, the last time i memorised all those words was when preparing for O levels, safe to say, it was ages ago.

i feel so upset cause i was off little help for the doctor. next, she asked me to speak to the patient. she was already staring at me weirdly. i asked her casually, no reply. just empty stares. i told the doctor, i think you need a better translator, i'll get someone else for you.

so i called my pharmacist shariffah. so funny, i was calling her,
'hey can i speak to shariffah?'
'may i know whose on the line?'
'oh this is shariffah'

we were too excited about this international patient that i missed out the location. she went to the wrong ward and never appeared at the correct ward. haha. i still wonder hows the patient doing or if i ever would bump into the patient and her family. they were from abu dhabi.

oh yeah, did i mention that my colleagues were excited that those arabs cld be interested in me. AHAH. funny!

i was online last sunday updating my blog and suddenly, im disconnected..
in case you've been looking for me, i know ive not been online much. internet at home is down, so im temporarily using this pay by the minute internet plan. i think its gonna go on for quite sometime cause the family is deciding to switch to signet now instead of starhub. good idea.. or not?

haiya, now ive been working everything also they are asking me to pay. pay light and water bill, now internet bill. pay pay pay everything. urgh.
