I've always wondered what happens during a facial. Every young woman i know goes to facial often. Since my colleague passed me a 28 bucks worth of facial voucher and even booked a session for me, it was an offer too good to say no.

I walked in without any thoughts of how it facial session's going to be like. It's a wonder why i never asked anyone before. A bit worried for a moment cause i had full make up on (went there after work). Everyone was friendly, they thought i was under-aged to do facial. It's for 21 and above by the way.

Vicky was my beautician for the night. She told me she had years of experience working in beauty salon and from that moment, i knew i was in good hands. She removed my make up with much tender loving care. I felt calm and relaxed. It was funny how she insisted that I had some mascara on. When I told her no, she asked if i did eyelash extensions. Even at the hair salon, i was asked the same thing. Truthfully, i think that my eyelash is nothing compared to my beautiful girlfriends.

Anyway, back to the facial. After removing my make up, she began analyzing the skin. Generally, my skin is good (i was so glad to hear that!), just that i have oily T-zones and dry skin on my cheeks. Nothing new really.

She recommended me a gentle skin peeler to remove the dead skin cells on my face since this is my first facial trip in my life! I was excited knowing that every night after washing my face, i notice that dull skin. The peeler makes the skin glow! Seeing half of the effect on my face, i was convinced that it's a really good treatment. Oh yes, did i mention she was shocked at my dark circles on my eye bag, she couldn't stop saying that i should do something to it.

After removing dead skin cells, it was time for white heads and black heads. Yay! I figured this would be definitely part of the service and boy, i was excited! (I have plenty plenty plenty). It was a manageable pain extraction moment of those tiny lil heads that causes pimples.

It ended with a cooling (icy cold!) face mask and she didn't hesitate to throw in an eye collagen treatment as well. Partly due to the fact that i signed a package. 33 bucks each for next 5 facial sessions with 2 eye collagen treatment. Not only that, neck treatment plus shoulder massage.

Overall, I cant wait for the next session. She advised me to do once every three weeks but i thought once a month would be awesome (:

Love.

you read. you re-read. you triple read just to understand. then you become obsess with each line. you thought you understand and start to misinterpret. nothing new.

maybe great minds get a different light when they do this. but maybe when it comes to small minds, they just get stuck in history.
